eyepower is a self-funded start up by Planet Lighting Ltd and is based in the UK.
Planet Lighting, under the leadership of Stephen Allen, is a long established and successful business supplying custom lighting solutions primarily for commercial projects through its client base of lighting designers and the electrical trade.

With over 30 years of experience in a range of technology related companies, Stephen has a particular interest in bringing new and innovative products to market.

Stephen set up eyepower as a division of Planet Lighting in early 2020 with the aim of designing and developing a mass-market product that would allow individuals to take advantage of recent research in to the beneficial effects of deep red light on long term eye health.

With the help and guidance of key academics at the forefront of red light therapy and industry professionals, eyepower succeeded in bringing a product to market in June 2022.

Within 6 months of launch, the company had sold over 2,500 units to customers around the globe.

eyepower is committed to supporting further research and enhancing and expanding its range of deep red and near infra-red products for personal well-being.
